As principal engineer, I was instrumental in the development of a platform that revolutionized insurance management for major U.S. construction companies, now handling 100,000+ policies across 3,500+ projects.

At billy, I touched every corner of the platform. We built robust insurance compliance engines and event-driven systems using Elixir’s OTP framework. Our highly responsive UI, built with LiveView, Surface, AlpineJS, and Tailwind, earned widespread customer praise. The platform seamlessly integrated with industry leaders like Procore, Sage, Flatfile, Postmark and Algolia, while supporting enterprise-scale email operations.
